Accent furniture includes lamps, tables, chairs, radios, art pieces and anything you think would look nice or complement the furniture you already have in a room that could use something to give it a snap. Shelves, curios, area rugs are also accent furniture that add a texture or a feeling to a room, bringing culture to create a unique ambiance. They should put a punch to the room, but not totally clash with the rest, even if you find them gorgeous.
