Patios often tend to look the same because we tend to use what is called “patio furniture.” To give your patio a different look, try using benches. Not only do the break up the uniformity of the small tables and chairs layout, benches with built in storage are useful for storing all the odds and ends that seem to collect in patios. Benches with cushions that match the rest of the upholstery can add to the formal planned look of the area and the use of brightly colored non matching cushions can create a counterpoint or accent to change to look of the patio.
