If you want to do something a little different for someone that is near and dear for their birthday, plan a fun garden party to celebrate their special day.
If you get organized early on in the planning stages and this will mean having everything in order from the invitations right down to the icing on the cake; your party planning will go a lot smoother. Also, you may want to look around for your garden area a bit to see if you have anything that warrants changing or if you’ve been thinking of introducing a new piece to your garden area, this would be a great time to do it.
Do not be afraid to add a few new garden elements, including new plants or maybe even a few flowering shrubs if you feel don’t mind getting your hands dirty. Think about where your garden party guests will be walking and you may want to put up a few markers, teak carpeting runners or fences so that some of your plants do not get stepped on at all. In addition to your decorations, a fun and beautiful garden accent that can be added here and there such as statues, topiaries and gazing balls will all add a fun element to your garden area.
Last but not least, make sure that you have adequate seating for your guests and it may be a great time to invest in some folding chairs for any extra guests that show up and make sure your invited guests have comfy seating awaiting them.
Use these tips and pull off the perfect garden party!
